Ladies of Huntingtowne Farms, it’s time for a Halloween party!
When: Wednesday, October 25, at 7 p.m.
Where: SouthPark Swim and Tennis Club Social Room (2200 Huntingtowne Farms Lane)
Dress to impress—best costume will win a prize. Bring your spookiest snack or desert to share, and as always, BYOB. No costume? No food to bring? COME ANYWAY! If your day got away from you, you deserve to get away!
We’ve rescheduled, and now it’s finally time for our neighborhood’s biggest annual event!
Join us on Sunday, October 15, from 1 to 4 p.m. at Huntingtowne Farms Park (Ramblewood entrance). Archie’s BBQ will be there along with a live band, bounce houses, and the annual baking contest.
To enjoy the fun for free, you must be an HFNA member. Join online today, or pay cash at the event (still just $45 per year!). Guests are also welcome: $5 per person, $10 per family.
At least ten police officers dropped by our neighborhood’s National Night Out event last Tuesday at Huntingtowne Farms Elementary. They thanked us for hosting the event and noted that crime in Huntingtowne Farms is low compared with other nearby neighborhoods.
Several elected officials and candidates for local offices also attended: County Commissioner (and HF resident) Matthew Ridenhour; City Council Representative (and candidate for mayor) Kenny Smith; Tariq Scott Bokhari, candidate for city council (District 6); John Powell, candidate for city council (at-large); and Jeremy Stephenson, candidate for school board (District 5).

Our parade grows bigger and better every year!
Many thanks to CMPD, the Charlotte Fire Department, the neighborhood volunteers who helped organize the event and brought baked goods, and to everyone who participated.
See you for our next event, National Night Out, on August 1. Details to come.
When: Tuesday, July 4, at 10 a.m. (parade starts at 10:30 a.m.).
