HFNA members: Time to renew (or join) for 2017

It’s that time again! We had our annual meeting last month, we’ve elected new section leaders, and put together a crime watch committee and a membership committee.

Now we need your financial support! Your $45 annual dues pay for entrance maintenance and future renovations (including monthly electric and water bills), neighborhood events, the HFNA website, email software, our legal defense fund (which we might need if, for example, a bridge connecting one of our streets to a street across the creek is ever proposed), and other miscellaneous items that make our neighborhood one of the best in Charlotte!

CMS student assignment proposal: No changes to HFES attendance zone

On April 25, CMS superintendent Ann Clark unveiled a new student assignment plan, which, if approved by the school board at its May 24 meeting, would take effect starting with the 2018-19 school year.
